New Warming Center Could Be Coming To North County

San Luis Obispo’s North County may get a permanent warming shelter by next year. A new 5,000-square-foot shelter would be built near the Paso Robles Wastewater Treatment Plant, thanks to a team effort between the cities of Atascadero and Paso Robles, as well as, Paso Cares and the El Camino Homeless Organization. Funding for the 1.7 million dollar project would come from the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors.
