The Santa Maria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a counterfeiting suspect. Police say the man used a counterfeit 100 dollar bill to buy food at a restaurant on East Betteravia on March 31st. He used another counterfeit 100 dollar bill at a different business the next day. He’s described as possibly a Hispanic or White male adult in his 40s, bald head with dark hair and dark eyes. Anyone with information about this ongoing investigation is asked to contact the Santa Maria Police Department.
