Los Osos man who lost his life in the head-on collision on the 101 earlier this week. Authorities say Anthony Au was on his way to work when his car was hit head-on by a car going the wrong way in the Northbound lanes of the 101. Au’s co-workers at the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Honor Farm shared their loss on Facebook yesterday. The collision is still under investigation. Yesterday, the CHP said it still does not know whether distracted driving, drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
