Trade Agreement Could Be Good For Locals

A trade agreement between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada seems to be inching closer. That agreement would help local farmers and consumers. According to KSBY, Farmers say it would help level the playing field for the U.S. while strengthening trade in North America. For shoppers, there would be a large selection of produce year-round that are currently considered seasonal. The SLO County Farm Bureau is working with Salud Carbajal in an effort to get an agreement finalized before Congress’s August break.
