Lompoc Police Get A Break In Soldier’s Murder Case

Lompoc Police have caught a break in the shooting death of a soldier home on leave. Investigators say 22-year-old Marlon Brumfield was gunned down by two men with alleged gang affiliations less than two weeks ago. Authorities believe the shooting was random. Yesterday they announced the arrest of one of the suspects. 24-year-old Francisco GutierrezOrtega turned himself in. 25-year-old Walter Morales Jr. is still on the loose.
