High-Speed Chase Ends At Grocery Store

A high speed chase through San Luis Obispo ended at a local grocery store. The CHP says officers tried to make a vehicle stop just north of San Miguel yesterday afternoon. The driver had other ideas and led officers south on the 101, down Cuesta Grade into San Luis Obispo. Officers deployed a spike strip at Marsh Street and the driver exited the highway on Madonna Road. The driver and passenger bailed on foot and into the Ralph’s grocery store. The driver was taken into custody. The passenger is still on the loose.
