Saturday was the fourth day of protests in San Luis Obispo. The demonstration followed two other days of silent protests following the arrest last Tuesday night of protest organizer Tianna Arata. Saturday’s protest theme was “A Silent Sit-In for Black Lives.” About 250 demonstrators lined the streets of downtown SLO saying their goal was to promote peace and solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
