A suspicious package was found at a Santa Maria Church yesterday afternoon. The discovery prompted the Santa Barbara County Bomb Squad to be called out to the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. The bomb squad deployed a robot and retrieved the package. It turned out to be a toy and not an explosive device.
