Unprecedented Election Ballots Cast

Election Day is just a week away and the number of voters who have already cast ballots is unprecedented. According to the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s office, almost half of the 184,050 registered voters in the county have filled out their ballots. County Clerk-Recorder Tommy Gong expects his office to have received more than 100,000 filled-out vote-by-mail ballots by the weekend. He added that the upcoming election could set a record for voter turnout.
