Becky Kingman has lived in San Luis County for 20 years and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else! (Except for maybe Florida. Yes, Florida). Becky grew up in a teeny, tiny town in Northern California. After graduating from Cal Poly in 2007 with a degree in Journalism, Becky started her radio career on the Central Coast! If she’s not at work, you can find her toting her kids to and from school, every sports practice imaginable, Girl Scouts or birthday parties. She 100% wouldn’t have it any other way. If they’re not cruising around the county in the minivan, they’re planning their next family vacation! A Kingman family rule…always have a vacation, no matter how big or small, planned for sometime in the next six months. (Even if it’s just a weekend adventure 30 minutes away from home).
When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?
Adventuring with my husband and two kids. We love to get in the car and check out places we’ve never been before.

John Michael Montgomery in 1995. My dad surprised me with tickets when I came home from school!

“To Kill a Mockingbird”
What was your first job?
I worked at a Veterinary Center in High School. It’s still one of my favorite jobs!

Where is your happy place?
Watching my kids run down Main Street in Disneyland, first thing in the morning!
At what job would you be terrible?
A doctor or nurse. I just…couldn’t. Even thinking about it makes me squeamish.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
To visit every state! I’ve been trying to visit one new state per year so…I’m getting there!
