COVID-19 Vaccine Reaches SLO County

The first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in San Luis Obispo County, but it may be awhile before the general public will be able to be inoculated. According to Dr. Penny Borenstein, the first doses are meant for Emergency responders, including, EMTs, and some sectors of healthcare beginning tomorrow. She added that it could take weeks to get the entire healthcare universe vaccinated. Accord to the Tribune it will be several months before the vaccine will be widely distributed.
