All Santa Maria high school students will soon be allowed back in class. The Santa Maria Joint Union High School District Board of Education voted last night to allow in-person learning. Ninth graders will return to their classrooms on May 11th. Tenth and eleventh graders will return on May 18. Seniors were allowed back on April 20th. District officials say their decision was made with input from teachers, staff, parents, students, and favorable COVID-19 data.
