SLO County Could Step-Up Enforcement Of The Shelter-At-Home Order

San Luis Obispo County officials plan to step-up enforcement of the shelter-at-home order in the next couple of days. Failing to comply could lead to a fine or jail time. At yesterday’s press conference, County Administrative Officer Wade Horton announced the launch of an Enforcement Line for residents to report violations of the county’s shelter-at-home orders. That number is (805) 788-2222. Businesses that refuse to comply with the order could face a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $1,000, six months in jail or both.
