Santa Barbara County reported 26 new cases of novel coronavirus yesterday. The total number of county residents confirmed with COVID-19 is now 218. 51 patients have fully recovered, 42 are in the hospital, including 19 in ICU. The remainder are recovering at home. At yesterday’s Santa Barbara County Board of supervisors meeting health officials recommended keeping up social distancing throughout the summer. Some supervisors were concerned about the economic impact on the local economy.
