A Santa Maria school was placed on lockdown yesterday morning while officers searched for a stolen vehicle suspect. The CHP says, they had a report of a stolen vehicle in the Los Alamos area and officers spotted the vehicle on Clark Avenue in Orcutt. A pursuit ended near St. Mary’s of the Assumption School, which prompted a precautionary lockdown. The suspect fled on foot. The lockdown was lifted by 10:30 a.m….
