The former Canadian pastor who was arrested trying to meet a person he thought was a teenager for sex was in court yesterday for sentencing. Nathan Rieger was convicted in December of attempting to meet a supposed 15-year-old girl for sex in Arroyo Grande last August. The teen he had been texting was actually an Arroyo Grande police detective. Rieger testified that he thought he was role-playing with a woman in her 20s or 30s. A jury saw it differently, now he’s headed to a California State Prison for the next two-years.
