San Luis Obispo Police say a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in a crash at a major intersection. It happened at around 10 a.m. at Santa Rosa Street and Highland Drive. That’s where a woman making a left turn onto the Cal Poly campus collided with the deputy’s unmarked squad car. She received minor injuries in the crash. The deputy needed to be extricated from his vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital. No word on his current condition.
