The Santa Maria man San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s investigators believe was responsible for an armed robbery last week at Pirates Cove was in court yesterday. 20-year-old Brayan ArellanoVazquez is now facing charges of attempted car-jacking, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon. Those charges carry an enhancement because of a street gang association. No plea was entered, ArellanoVazquez is due back in court next week.
