Parks Officials Warn Against Third Party Camping Permits

With the long Labor Day weekend on the horizon, State Parks officials say Camping permits for the three-day weekend are sold out. They also warn that if you didn’t buy your pass directly from State Parks you could get sent back home. According to KSBY, more than a dozen passes are currently listed on Craigslist, with some people charging more than $200 per pass. But if your name is not on the list of reservations, you could be turned away. And if you’re caught camping without a pass, your fine will be more than 300 dollars.
