With the number of people getting sick and dying related to vaping currently on the rise, the city Of Arroyo Grande may be the first city in San Luis Obispo County to ban vaping products by the end of the year. The City Council first began looking into the possibility of a ban last month. According to the Tribune, a ban would still need to go through several steps before a ban could take effect. Arroyo Grande Mayor Caren Ray Russom thinks it would be similar to San Francisco’s recently imposed ban that has ties to pending FDA direction on e-cigarette product safety.
