Santa Maria Police arrested a man they believe was involved in a deadly shooting incident at a taco restaurant earlier this month. Investigators say 33-year-old Jose Gonzalez Medina was involved in an altercation which led to the shooting on October 6th. 29-year-year-old Juan Carlos Hernandez was identified as a suspect a day later. Yesterday, with the help of the U.S. Marshal’s Office, Police arrested Hernandez in Mexico. He’s back in Santa Maria to face a charge of homicide.
