Power Could Go Out In San Luis Obispo County Sunday

San Luis Obispo County could be the latest in a long line of counties to have power shut off in the next couple of days. Yesterday, PG&E announced it would be monitoring a strong wind event that could force them to shut off power to larges sections of California including San Luis Obispo County. Nearly all of PG&E’s coverage zones have an “elevated” potential for a Public Safety Power Shutoff event on Sunday and Monday. That does not mean the power will go out, only that PG&E will be watching the area closely for potential shutoff conditions.
