Cal Poly officials have confirmed that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle over the weekend. They say it happened just after 8 o’clock last night on Grand Ave near N. Perimeter Road. The pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. They were taken to an area hospital complaining of leg and shoulder pain. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
