Atascadero residents wanting to be part of shaping the future of their downtown area met yesterday to discuss what the city should do about safety. While City officials laid out their vision, neighbors talked about increasing pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle safety. Residents can take part in another downtown meeting this afternoon at City Hall at 4. two more meetings are slated for later this month.
