Two Cal Poly Students Told To Self-Quarantine

As President Trump suspended all travel from Europe to the US for 30 days beginning this Friday, and California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that California public health officials have determined that gatherings of more than 250 people should be postponed or canceled across the state until at least the end of the month, two Cal Poly students were told to self-quarantine for 14 days after they returned from traveling from an area with a higher number of known infections. School officials say, the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department told them to quarantine out of an abundance of caution. There are currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus on the Cal Poly campus or in San Luis Obispo County.
