San Luis Obispo County leaders say the seat left by Adam Hill’s sudden death last week could be filled by an appointee chosen by Governor Gavin Newsom. Supervisor Hill represented the Third District for 12 years. He was found at his Shell Beach home on Thursday. Governor Newsom will likely choose an appointee, who will fill Hill’s seat until the next general election in 2022.
