Santa Barbara County has reported the death of another resident who tested positive for COVID-19. Officials say the patient was over the age of 70, had underlying health conditions, and lived in Santa Maria. They also added another 27 new cases of confirmed coronavirus, bringing the county’s total to 7,508. Meanwhile, after being a hot spot for Santa Barbara County, Santa Maria is starting to see fewer cases. Just this week, Santa Maria reported only 2 positive COVID-19 cases.
