San Luis Obispo County’s annual Early Warning System siren test will take place tomorrow. All 131 sirens between Cayucos and the Nipomo Mesa will be sounded twice, at noon and 12:30 p.m., for three minutes each time. No action is required on the part of the public during these tests. During an actual emergency, the sirens would sound to alert the public to tune into a local radio or television station to receive emergency information and instructions.
