The deadly wildfires burning in Northern California are having effects on the Central Coast. Smoke from the fires prompted an air quality alert earlier this week from the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District. That alert is still in effect. San Luis Obispo County recently recorded the worst air quality in the world. Farmworkers and anyone who works outside has been affected. Some businesses that recently moved outdoors have been forced to alter or stop operations all together.
