A 29-year-old murder case comes back to the Central Coast. Santa Barbara County D. A. announced that the suspect in the 1991 murder of a man has been was extradited from the U.K. and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail. 62-year-old Wei Miao is the prime suspect in the beating death of Chung Yu Ping on or around June 6, 1991. Miao was located and arrested in London in 2015. He’ll make his first court appearance this morning in Santa Maria. His bail was set at 2 million dollars.
