The city of Morro Bay is launching its a “Be a Trash Hero” campaign, encouraging visitors to be part of the solution, not the pollution. City officials say they have seen a spike in the amount of waste from visitors to the area. The campaign focuses on encouraging tourists to respect the community by properly disposing of all trash and recyclables.
