Fire forced the evacuation of four people in Orcutt early this morning. At around 3:30, the Santa Barbara County Fire department was called out to a structure fire on Amethyst Drive. When they arrived, crews found a travel trailer fully involved in flames and threatening two nearby homes. Quick work by firefighters kept the flames from doing major damage to the homes. No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
