A San Luis Obispo County jury found A Nipomo man, with two previous DUIs, guilty of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated yesterday. Edgar Morales dodged a second-degree murder charge in the death of an 82-year-old woman when jurors couldn’t agree on “implied malice” needed for the murder charge. According to the Tribune, it’s unclear if county prosecutors will re-try the case.
