As San Luis Obispo County COVID-19 numbers continue to climb, the County Board of Supervisors voted 3-2 in favor of exploring a lawsuit that would push for breaking away from the Southern California region and potentially be eligible to return to the purple tier on its own. Health officials added 611 new cases of coronavirus, including two deaths. Santa Barbara County added 341 new cases and seven more deaths.
