COVID-19 CDC Rules Easing

Several Schools in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties have re-opened for in-person learning under California’s strict guidelines and recommendations. Those guidelines include physical distancing requirements for K-12 schools. But new requirements coming from the C.D.C. could allow more students in a classroom. The new guidance states students can now be 3 feet apart instead of 6 feet apart. A new study showed no change in the transmission rate of disease for 3 feet of distancing versus 6 feet.
