The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting incident that left one person dead over the weekend. The incident happened Sunday night. Lompoc Police received a call about a man with a gun on H Street. Officers caught up with the man and an altercation began in the alley between H and G Streets. Shots were fired and the victim would be pronounced dead at the scene. No other information is currently available. The investigation is ongoing.
