An outpouring of emotion and support yesterday. More than 2,000 people attended the memorial service for San Luis Obispo police Detective Luca Benedetti yesterday at the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center. Hundreds more lined streets and overpasses during a procession of first responders who accompanied Benedetti to his final resting place in Paso Robles. Benedetti was remembered as an outstanding officer with the San Luis Obispo Police Department, a Friend, husband, and father.
