The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened in Nipomo yesterday afternoon. Investigators say deputies were dispatched to a report of a disturbance near North Thompson and Day Streets at around 3:20. When deputies arrived, they found a person who had a suspected gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
