Santa Maria residents looking to beat the heat can find relief at the Paul Nelson Aquatics Center this afternoon. The public pool in Santa Maria is reopening from 1 to 3 this afternoon through Friday. The pool will be free to Santa Maria residents next week. Individual fees to swim will be starting Saturday, June 26.
