According to a recently released Grand Jury report, San Luis Obispo County does not have enough paramedics. According to the Tribune, the report found that three of the 16 county-funded Cal Fire engines that serve rural and suburban areas are staffed by paramedics able to provide pre-hospital medical care in response to priority emergency calls. But, the group did report that the County was well-served by Cal Fire and San Luis Ambulance when it came to filling the needs of the population.
