Morro Bay Police helped nab a woman accused of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Tulare County marketing firm. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office had been investigating a report that the Vice President of Best Agri Marketing in Traver had embezzled more than 330,000 dollars over a four year period. Denise Franks, who was Vice President of the company for 19 years, was detained by Morro Bay Police at her vacation home in Morro Bay until Tulare County Deputies arrived to take her into custody. Her bail has been set at 75,000 dollars.
