A San Luis Obispo home invasion robbery suspect is behind bars. Sheriff’s investigators say 38-year-old Johnny Jess Roman, Jr. is believed to have entered the home of an elderly woman on O’Connor Way in February, stealing cash and the woman’s truck. The truck was recovered in San Jose. Roman was taken into custody in Virginia by Virginia Beach police. He’ll face several charges including elder abuse, and vehicle theft when he’s extradited to San Luis Obispo County.
